You can view the current Grand Union ad right over
HERE. I am noticing that GU seems to have done away with their savings card program as all the ads are now saying "Great Value. Low Prices. No Card Needed." I was hoping they might jump on board with SavingStar, Upromise, and maybe even get some catalinas going, but I guess not.
These are the deals and matchups I see this week:
Seven Days of Savings items:
Sunday - Smithfield domestic cooked ham - $3.99 lb
Monday - Best Yet butter 1 lb - $1.99
Tuesday - Iceburg lettuce - $0.99
Wednesday - 80% lean ground beef - $2.49 lb
Thursday - Whole rotisserie chicken - $4.99
Friday - Bananas - $0.49 lb
Saturday - 8 pc fried chicken combo - $4.99
5 for $24.99 Meat:
Grand Union also has a pick any 5 for $24.99 in the meat case specially marked area. There is usually a very wide selection for choices. I've gotten stew beef, steaks, hamburg, pork chops, chicken, sausage, you name it. LOL It's a pretty good deal if the meat sales around you are not-so-hot that week.
